2.10 Hunted
Ava Wilson started having headaches and nightmares about a year ago, about the same time Sam's did. About a month before 2.10 Hunted, she had visions of Scott Carey being killed and then of Sam dying. So she tracks him down, using clues from her vision.
Ava helps Sam obtain the tapes of Scott's therapy session. She is with him when they are fired on by Gordon. After Sam gets a call from Dean indicating he is in trouble, Sam encourages her to return home.
After Sam has rescued Dean from Gordon, he is unable to reach Ava on her phone and they travel to her home. Here they find her fiance Brady dead, Ava's engagement ring and signs of demonic activity (sulfur on the windowsill).
2.11 Playthings
Sam and Dean spend a month looking for Ava, to no avail.

2.21 All Hell Breaks Loose: Part One
Sam finds Ava at Cold Oak, and she claims to have just woken up there with no memory of the five months that have passed since her disappearance.
However, Ava has spent the time since her disappearance developing her powers. She has been in Cold Oak, battling and killing other Special Children. She can control demons and uses this power to kill Lily and Andy. She is about to kill Sam when she is killed by Jake Talley.

Ash

In Jo's Journal, Ash is referred to as "Miles". This is what he was called in early scripts of 2.02 Everybody Loves a Clown (episode).
Ash appears to live at the Roadhouse with Ellen and Jo. He has his own room at the Roadhouse. The sign on the door reads "Dr. Badass is" and offers a choice of "in" and probably "out".
According to Jo's Journal, Ash arrived at the Roadhouse in March 2001.
He wears his hair in a mullet style, justifying it as "all business up front; party in the back!"
Jo refers to him as a 'genius'.
Ash attended MIT before he was kicked out 'for fighting'.
Ash drinks PBR

2.02 Everybody Loves a Clown
Ellen introduces the boys to Ash. He takes John's research on the Yellow-Eyed Demon and on what appears to be a home-made laptop sets up a 'demon alert system'.
Dean says Ash looks like Lynyrd Skynyrd roadie.
2.05 Simon Said
After Sam has a vision, Ash helps identify the location from a logo on the bus in Sam's vision.

Dr BadAss is IN!
2.10 Hunted
Sam turns to Ash to get a list of children who are 23 and whose mother's died in a nursery fire, leading him to follow-up on the recently murdered Scott Carey.
2.21 All Hell Breaks Loose: Part One
As Dean searches for Sam, Ash says he has some big news he will only tell Dean in person. However, Dean arrives to find the Roadhouse burned to the ground. It is strongly implied that Ash was killed in the Roadhouse fire, Dean having found a charred hand with Ash's watch on it. (Note: Ash was never shown wearing this watch before this episode, when it is seen when he is on the phone to Dean).

Webber (like his twin) had the power of mind control; unlike his twin, he used this power to kill at least two people. He also had a finer control over his power than Andy, able to manipulate others' actions without giving verbal commands.
Webber was killed by Andy in 2.05 Simon Said in order to prevent him committing another murder.
